I have never particularly thought of myself, as being a particularly good or bad leader I've just always lived by the motto treat others how you would like to be treated and everything else should work itself out! I still happen to live by that motto, but few people are actually taught about what it takes to be a truly great leader and let me tell you my eyes have been opened and boy are there a lot of things to consider! It's more clear to me than ever that leadership is a journey and is a constant battle there are going to be good days (few and far between) and there are definitely going to be challenging days but you have the power to make ensure that there are no bad days. Jay and Kim have given me the tools to ensure that this is and remains the case, as a leader you can only control your own actions and emotions and it's up to you to decide how you respond to a given situation. I feel that this course has shifted the power back into my hands and has caused a complete shift in the way in which I approach life as a whole, and for that I am truly grateful! Hello doubters, Are you in a position that you feel uncomfortable? Never saw yourself in the role that you're in? Jay and Kim will definitely help!!! I was personally put in a manager's role directly from spending 20+ years working in the shop. I felt "lost" as I did not have the necessary tools to cope with the daily stresses and the difficulties dealing with people. I was extremely stressed out every day until I started the course and started to learn some of these tools. I looked forward to every week's meeting and used it for learning new tools as well as a little bit of personal therapy. The course starts with a personal assessment and is designed around your personal abilities. It is a definite must for anyone in a leadership role. Jay and Kim are absolutely amazing people! While learning about different types of energies, I have gained greater insight as to what preferences apply to each allowing me to be flexible and opening the door to change as well as improving my communication with others and helping me to navigate stress or pressure by finding balance.
